Project Description

Next/Now worked under Centerpoint to create this Customer Experience Center for Phillips-Medisize. We had several media installations in the room including a welcome wall separated into 4 pillars and a touchscreen controlled kiosk. All applications could be edited via a content management system.

My Role

On this project I created three of the stations using Unity 3D, the welcome pillars, the 3by1 kiosk, and a video wall. The welcome pillars are simply a looping video with optional text on top controlled via a CMS. The video wall is a simple video playback system dictated by the CMS. The 3by1 kiosk is the most complex of the three using a large touchscreen table to allow a user to swipe through a hub and several pages of media, all uploaded via the CMS, and also click media to open it on the three screens above the touch table. I maintained the Unity projects and some of the media pulling/saving logic but the CMS was handled by other people on the team.
